2010 Summer Programs |

Clover Valley offers summer programs for young people interested in learning more about horsemanship and riding. We have one-day programs for children interested in learning about horses, and four-day horsemanship/riding programs for beginners through advanced. We even have a new, one-day adult program!
Space in all programs is limited. Please register early to ensure your spot. Registrations will be accepted in the order in which we receive a completed registration form and deposit.
A SPRING THING: A DAY AT THE BARN THURSDAY APRIL 22, 2010 8am-2pm Spend time where you love to hang out, the barn! Fun, friends, and HORSES! Participants will learn grooming, basic tacking skills, learn about basic horse care and stall cleaning, and ride a horse, all while having fun! Participants must bring their own lunch. You may sign up for one or all of the dates. $85 per child. Ages 8 and up. Pre-registration required. Please email for a form.
SUMMER ONE -DAY HORSE LOVERS PROGRAMS:
Can’t do a 4-day program? Is your child new to horses, and wants to spend a day at the barn to see if he or she really likes it? Sign up for one of our one-day horsemanship programs. Participants will learn about grooming, breeds, colors, and tack, basic horse care and stall cleaning, and ride a horse, all while having fun! Participants must bring their own lunch. You may sign up for one or all of the dates. $85 per child per day. Thursday, June 24, 2010 8am-2pm Thursday, July 8, 2010 8am-2pm Thursday, August 19, 2010 8am-2pm

WHEN ONE DAY IS NOT ENOUGH! 4-DAY SUMMER HORSEMANSHIP/RIDING PROGRAMS:
Come spend your days at the barn! From morning till night, the horses and staff at Clover Valley have things to do! Come take part in the Clover Valley experience! No need to rush off after a lesson! The programs include activities designed to learn horsemanship skills, including horse care and grooming, cleaning, feeding, and basic health care. Participants will have one mounted riding lesson per day in addition to the ground activities.
All programs run 8:00 AM-2:00 PM. You may use a school horse, or if your horse is boarded here you may use your own. Participants must bring their own lunch.
Participants may be new to horseback riding, or may have experience at walk, trot, and beginning canter and possibly small jumps. Riders will be divided into groups and will ride at their own level during these programs. Suggested ages 8-18. Participants may sign up for one or both programs.
Program 1: Tuesday-Friday July 13-16, 2010 Program 2: Tuesday-Friday August 3-6, 2010

To register for 4-Day camps, $100 per student per session non-refundable deposits are due by June 1, 2010. If it’s after June 1 and you’d like to register, please inquire...we may have slots open, but space is limited. Register early to ensure your spot!
