Riding Lessons

At Clover Valley, we believe in teaching good, safe horsemanship as a first priority.  All students are required to learn how to groom, tack, and untack their horses under the supervision of an instructor until they are able to safely do so on their own.

Lessons are held on our well schooled horses and ponies.  Our program is relatively small, so that your horse is rested and ready for you when you arrive.

We instruct both English and Western lessons, beginner through advanced, children and adults.  We are happy to match you with a horse that meets your needs.

All beginners must ride in private lessons until their instructor determines they can safely ride in a group.

Riders must wear proper attire and footwear, sign a release form prior to riding, and must wear an approved helmet when mounted.

New students must complete a lesson registration form.  Students sign up for a weekly time slot, and come every week at that time.  Proper notice must be given for a cancellation to avoid being charged a fee.
