Radar Hanover from Hanover Shoe Farms in PA. Ex-Racehorse from Plain Ridge track, won lots of money in his day! Had race injury. Small fracture in right front which is all healed, we gave him rehab and time and he's fine. Only problem is some arthritis in left hind, fine with a joint supplement (currently on GLC 5500). Barefoot, has GREAT feet, fine with periodic trims. Never wears shoes! Can be ridden English or Western. We use just a plain snaffle on him. Will drive as well. Is a pacer but will trot for you if you ask! Will canter as well but not for too long, will most likely break into a pace after a bit.. Friendly, good with other horses but is higher up in herd order, will be 2nd to a bossier horse. Easy to handle, patient, good for vet and farrier. Gets bored in the ring, although he will do periodic ring work without complaint. Likes trails, will plow through anything! Not spooky. Has been on grass pasture in a herd for last several years. Up to date on all trims, shots, teeth, and worming. Records available. Trailers easily (walks on without trouble). We think he'd make someone very happy who might take him out more.
