About Clover Valley |
|
Clover Valley Farm was first opened by the Wilbur family in the 1930s as a dairy farm. The property consisted of the farm house (built in 1802) and the old part of the barn. The rest of the barn and the silos were added on for the cows. As a dairy farm, Clover Valley housed cows used for milk production. Clover Valley delivered milk to Easton and surrounding towns. Many residents remember the early morning visits from the milkman!
At one time, the barn was used to house pigs and a meat packing plant existed on the property.
Today, the barn is used to board privately owned horses. The fields are used to grow hay, which we bale and sell as feed hay for animals as well as mulch hay for construction and gardens. We recycle the manure and sell that as compost as well.
We also sell bulk sawdust/shavings to other farms, which is used for bedding for horses and cows.
Other products available include wood pellets and firewood.
We offer riding lessons, summer programs, hayrides, horse shows, and pony rides.
Four generations of the Wilbur family have enjoyed Clover Valley.
We hope you have enjoyed your visit to Clover Valley Farm!
